Trichy Metals and Alloys’ (TMAA) history dates back to the 1960s. During its initial years, TMAA pioneered in organized trading of non ferrous scrap metals and life-expired lead batteries. In 1975, TMAA diversified its interests into the manufacturing and processing of secondary lead.

  • Current : TMAA has a capacity of processing 9000 metric tonnes per year. The company maintains a YoY augmentation in sales.
  • 1999 : Established its second unit.
  • 1975 : Started manufacturing and processing of secondary lead with a capacity of 50 MT (crude lead) per year (the first-of-its-kind in Tamil Nadu).
  • 1960 : Inception as traders of non ferrous metal scrap and life expired lead batteries.
